Since its’ inception in 2011, Engage, The Foundation (Engage) has helped over 1000 youth and families by connecting communities, schools and universities to resources designed to improve individual stability and family structure. Through the Young Business Builders Program, we have equipped youth and families with the tools needed to turn passions into profit through training certifications, education and mentorship. Through our networking seminars and focus groups many community members, participating college students and recent graduates have become linked with a diverse network of professionals who work with them on achieving their career aspirations in a socially responsible manner.
This year we’ve partnered with the Adult Alternative Program to occupy the former “Real School” building. This partnership will allow us to focus on workforce development programs to prevent incarceration for at-risk youth and to assist in successful re-entry for our formerly incarcerated community members. The Adult Alternative Program is currently in full operation as the first phase of the program was completed with a graduation ceremony of ex-offenders who successfully finished the character development portion of the program. We are looking forward to continue providing these and other critically important services to community members in the coming year.
In 2017 alone, Engage served over 420 youth and families! We invite you to help us meet our goal of increasing the number of programs and services provided so that we can double the number of youth and families served in 2018!
This year please consider becoming an active member and/or making a year-end donation to Engage, The Foundation.
